You could still have only a file system problem remedied by Disk Check.
The only way to know for sure is to run both that and the diagnostics CD scan.
Ok, so what I need to do is to run chkdsk from the installation cd and run seatools right. But I think it is because of HW issues cos the sound of the HDD (when booting) doesn't sound right.
