Keyboard shortcuts do not work after shutdown

Hello!

I'm sitting with my laptop, where I have Windows 7 Professional installed, and have the problem: when I create a keyboard shortcut for a folder (for example Downloads) it works fine in the beginning. But after I have either put the computer into sleep mode or shut it down completely, the keyboard shortcuts simply do not work. I check the properties for the shortcuts I have made and the keyboard combinations are still there, but they just do not work.

If anyone else have had this problem and found a solution to it, please describe how.

Thanks for the tip but unfortunately it didn't solve my problem.

All the keyboard shortcuts for programs and such work fine, it's just those referring to folders that wont work after I have shut the computer down. I have tried making keyboard shortcuts with all the possible keys (alt, shift...) but I get the same result each time.
