Latest Internet Explorer 9 Release

It tells me its already been installed. I dont know either. That Groove GFS Browser helped doesn't have anything to do with it?
Disable it and check if it works, but remember to restart the browser.

Thats what I think the problem is. When I first installed IE9 it told me that if I unistalled some of my add-ons it would startup and run faster so I did so. This was one of the add-ons I disabled and now it won't ket me enable it again.I click enable but nothing happens.

I'm not sure about this, but try a computer restart, it's worth trying, just in case. :sarc:

How about the same thing (i suggested earlier) but instead did you disable top results. Try re enabling top results.

I checked add ons and I don't think disabling them would have anything to do with it but you can go into manage add ons and right click each an re enable them.

In your position, I would, simply remove IE9 then reinstall, when you open it, don't disable add-ons when it offers you to do so.

I wonder if anyone has found a way to put the tabs below the address bar instead of the right in IE 9 Beta? The reason is I have some older monitors with lower resolutions and tab space is quite limited on these.

Hopefully Microsoft will remedy this issue at least as an option in the final version of IE 9.
I'm hoping for the same thing. The way it is right now is a deal breaker for me.
If they fix this one thing, to me it's pretty much a perfect browser. I don't like the fact that the search box is gone as I've never liked the address bar to double as the search box but I can get used to that somewhat, but tabs on the right is just not intuitive in any way unless I'm using a dual-monitor setup and have IE stretched across both monitors to have enough room for tabs.

I found that Simple Adblock (Free Adblock for Internet Explorer, works with IE6, IE7 and IE8 « Simple Adblock) from IE 8 seems to work although, it doesn't have the options it had in IE 8 to disable it on some websites. I figure they'll update it for IE 9 soon enough.

(If this violates the rules, just remove this post. I don't think it does but let me know if it does.)
