Shouldn't it just update IE9 with windows update? If not please be kind enough to tell me exactly how I would go about updating IE9. I know I could lok up the newest version and download it. But that sounds a little overboard for a simple update. I amnot 100% sure. But I think windows updated updated IE9 for me the other times. I do not remember having to download it other than switching from IE8.

Windows will update it for you. The build that I was referring to isn't available to the public

Nope. No need to uninstall the IE9 RC. The IE9 RTM installed right over and replaced it for me.

Has anybody else managed to replicate my results? I installed IE9, even though I don't use IE as some programs use its HTML engine so might as well keep it updated, then decided to take it to Acid3 to see if it improved at all over the RC. It scored 13/100. I ran it several times to make sure I wasn't seeing things. Anybody else getting the same?
