Since this is a Dell computer, Microsoft will probably tell you they must help you. You have an OEM install, which means the OEM (Dell) must provide the support. I would call them and tell them your problems.

I honestly don't like calling them because they wouldn't help me unless I paid them 60 bucks..but if i have to I guess there isn't any other choice right? *sighs* I hate it when issues like this happen... I'll look at your other steps and see if they might come in handy.

So far as I am aware, issues with installing AnyTime Upgrades are free support.

To run chkdsk, you open an elevated command prompt, as explained in the link contained in the article I gave you.

So, open an elevated command prompt and type "chkdsk c: /f /r". This assumes that your OS is on the C drive, which should be correct. You will be notified that the check requires a restart. Restart the computer and let the process run.

There are a ocupe of errors in teh reports you posted wich indicate that WIndows is still confused about the version installed.
Please first try recreating the Licensing Store.
Recreate the Licensing Store
1) Click Start button.
2) Type: CMD.exe into the 'Search programs and files' field
3) Right-Click on CMD.exe and select Run as Administrator
4) Type: net stop sppsvc (It may ask you if you are sure, select yes)
Note: the Software Protection service may not be running, this is ok.
5) Type: cd %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareProtectionPlatform
6) Type: rename tokens.dat tokens.bar
7) Type: cd %windir%\system32
8) Type: net start sppsvc
9) Type: slui.exe
10) After a couple of seconds Windows Activation dialog will appear. You may be asked to re-activate and/or re-enter your product key or Activation may occur automatically.
If you are asked for your Key, use the one on the COA sticker on the machine's case
Reboot and Post back with a new MGADiag report

Unfortunately no - no-one keeps a record of which Key is assigned to which computer except within the MS activations database, which is a one-way trip.
Using a magnifier and a bright light (I often have to use a torch) does help some.
If the Key is not legible, then you're likely to be stuffed (but then you are pretty much, at the moment anyhow), and will have to try a lean install from the Recovery media to clear the problem.

Not at all - reinstalling from the Recovery media is a simple procedure, but will delete all your data, so back up first!
The recovery media includes the OEM_SLP Key from the manufacturer's install that you've been using up until now, and hopefully it will not require online activation at all, and will validate properly, allowing the Anytime Upgrade to take hold.

Probably just the stuff in the libraries - but if you have Windows Live stuff installed, you may need to look elsewhere as well, nad some older programs may not respect the conventions.
It's worth also checking your AppData folder just in case there's anything important in there.

Just a few questions running here:

1. Are there separate Upgrade Keys for 32bit and 64bit computers? Because maybe my mom bought the 64bit and not the 32bit one?

2. I know i'm supposed to be trying the recovery, but I used the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor program, and it said for the 64-Bit section that I had a lot of incompatible things on it, and for the 32bit programs mainly everything was okay, but 2 of my programs needed updating. Could that be a problem?
