Solved Please help anyone!! Urgent!!

I've never noticed a lag like you are seeing.
I haven't changed memory in many years ...

Even if things look right to me, I'd consider a BIOS reset, and start from there if I had your issue ...
I tweak many things in BIOS including voltages, RAM settings, enabled devices, ..., so I prefer not to do a reset until I try other options.
First I would make some "insignificant change" such as changing boot priority and save the changes.
That change/save might "fix" some other setting ... before doing a BIOS reset.

My PCs are old and have legacy BIOS.
If you have a newer PC with UEFI, my advice may not help.

You should fill in your SF System Specs.

It's not clear if you have a Pre-built, Home-built, UEFI, etc.

If I did need to try a re-install, I would make a System Backup Image and Backup all data before the re-install.

On my PCs, dual channel is not possible with 3 of 4 RAM slots used.

Well, I just done restored to earlier point, and everything is fine now. Problem solved!!

Next time I think I know what to do about this kidna issue!! Simply just restore to an earlier point. Everything runs smooths again and back where it shall be now.

I think I've installed some malware or perhaps added something wrong inside the regedit and cause system lags and slow it down. I am guessing but I could be wrong.

Theres no way anyone could tell or at least find out the main causes are. So what I thought was give the "Restore point" a try and it worked back to square one. and does it.

Yes I did, and what am I supposed to do then after viewing CPU-Z??

You simply click on the memory tab and it will tell you if the memory is running in dual channel, regardless of what the bios tells you.

System Restore likely means it was a problem with the OS and not the RAM sticks. System Restore doesn't affect the RAM sticks or related timing or other settings in the BIOS.

How is overall performance? Win7 should be fast, never hang or bog when you have a perfect install on adequate hardware.

That is true indeed, but somehow after restored the system everything were running again. There's no more lag and slowing downs. So I am suspecting whether this could be something wrong inside the regedit itself, or perhaps I've downloaded malwares etc. don't really know but only a guess.

Anything could be possible, and restore back to earlier point does actually helps!!

Have you scanned for malware with Malwarebytes as System Restore sometimes will not overcome infection.

What AV are your running? I would run a full scan with it. Sometimes the AV itself is a problem which is why most of us recommend Microsoft Security Essentials
