As I said earlier, there is nothing wrong. The only thing you can do is add more memory if the motherboard supports more.

Your board can support a maximum of 8 GB, you need 4 2GB sticks of DDR2 1066 PC2-8500

2 sets of these, as a 4 pack of that memory is hard to find.

You could also use a new video card, the 8800 is ancient, released in late 2006.

You might use restore defaults in your bios :/
Also repeat that after removing the graphic's card.

Just for the record you're not using onboard graphic's vga or dvi hdmi slots are you ?
All your graphic's connects are coming off the graphic's card gtx 8800 ?

And according to the memory models you listed in reply #28, you are using very slow memory, 533, when you should be using 1066.

These are the specs from Corsair according to the model you posted in reply #28 this is a step below what the motherboard specs say you can run.

Always get the fastest memory your board can run (especially DDR2)

It's been a very long time sense I have had DDR-2 ram but I don't remember seeing Hardware Reserve being that high.
Other than that I don't see a problem.
A lot of the ram is being used by "Opera"

I do believe the ram installed is this.

Going by my memory that ram is DDR-2 533 (533 x 2 = 1066)

I thought that to, but the memory would actually say 1066 if it was 1066, his memory actually says 533.

And there actually is 533 MHz PC2-4200 memory.

His board supports 667,800, and 1066 but he can also use 533 like he`s doing.

Like I said it's been a long gap between me and DDR-2.

If the ram has been in there from the start and is still installed properly, I don't know if their is a problem.
Removing the ram and reseating it could help and shouldn't hurt.

Here`s a shot using 667 MHz memory, notice how CPU`z only shows 333. (This AMD system`s ram won`t even reach 333)

333 x 2 = 666/667 MHz, they always advertise the memory speed at double data rate, which in his case is 533, so in CPU`z his memory would show as 266.

There was a time when CPU`z actually showed the double data rate speed, but the 2 versions I have only show the single rate speed.

post #13 recommended running resmon and posting a screenshot while using only 1 dimm and/or 2 dimms. If the poster would do so, we might see a different hardware reserved amount depending on which dimms are installed, which would help narrow down this issue

That makes sense, if he only has 2 GB installed his hardware reserved amount may or may not change.
