SERIOUS security problem..Please assist me

Vivek, if you are still using that QuickHeal thing, no change/addition/alteration/modification/replacement is going to help you.

Have you got rid of QuickHeal during your clean install?

Like you, I am also from India, and I know about QuickHeal. It can catch 49 threats in a pendrive which is just unpacked and plugged in for the first time. A big time joke of an antivirus program it is.

@Everyone, guys will changing the HDD or modem( internet connection provider) help me to get rid of this virus or hacker.
No. Even buying a new laptop won't help if you don't defend it properly from virus.

Getting a good antivirus program would go a long way though, if Arc is correct. Avira makes a good free antivirus. Here the download page. during installation choose the "secure start" option when asked.

Also, what do you use to connect to the internet? Is the laptop connected to the modem with a cable or wireless? Wireless can be unsafe if not configured well, and we can help you to configure it if you give the brand and model of the wireless device you are using.

What I would do in the meantime is downloading the bit-defender rescue cd and run it to clear the infection. This tutorial

Or running dban and then clean reinstalling again, and then installing Avira with the "secure start" option.

Hello vivek pecqurel. Please do as Arc suggested and get rid of Quick Heal.<period. How do you know someone else is using your laptop? How do you know movies were downloaded? Quick Heal may have planted a bot or setup an account for itself.

As per Golden's idea, change, or add a password, to your account(s).

If you want to pay for the antivirus, go for Eset Smart Security.

For free AV programs, MSE, Avast and Avira are good .... as good as any paid AV.

But who is the other persons using your computer? I think you should control their online activities using it.
