f8 "repair your computer"->memory diagnotics tool... asks you to reboot and on the fly modifies the bootmenu. It runs the same program as within windows!! So both fail
Yes create a system repair disc. And boot from it. You know how to change the boot order in BIOS? Be sure it only boots from DVD!! So temporary disable boot from harddisk! I must be sure it runs memory diagnostics from cd/dvd
Yes- both fail, really concerned by that I must admit.
I will create the disc - cant remember how to change bios settings to boot from disc. I will check the net for instructions.
Should I be concerned by the results so far?
