One of these crashes points to your avgcsrvx.exe (part of your avg antivirus). While not definative I would remove it and install Microsoft Security Essentials in its place.

I would also run a system file check
(type cmd in search>right click and run as admin>sfc /scannow)

Let us know if you need help

Hi -

The bugchecks -

0x50 = invalid memory referenced
0x24 = NTFS file system = HDD

Update these drivers - too old for Windows 7 -
Code:
[FONT=lucida console]AsIO.sys             Mon Dec 17 04:10:20 [COLOR=red]2007[/COLOR] (47663CFC) - Asus "Cool & Quiet" probe[/FONT]
[FONT=lucida console]BTNetFilter.sys      Wed Nov 22 00:38:35 [COLOR=red]2006[/COLOR] (4563E25B) -  BlueSoleil Bluetooth [/FONT]

Asus driver updates --> ASUSTeK Computer Inc.-Support-

BlueSoleil --> BlueSoleil - Bluetooth software, Bluetooth driver

Run chkdsk /r on HDD due to 0x24

*** Remove Daemon Tools/ Alcohol 120, whichever is installed. A driver common to both is known to cause BSODs.

See if both RAM sticks work together after the above completed.

Compared to Zigzag and Griff, I am only a very basic debugger. I took a peek at your dmps and it looks like memory or hard drive, from the looks of it.

From your first post, I think we have missed the point so far. I suspect your RAM is not compatible with your motherboard. Run a memory test on the 4GB, and also on only 2 later.

Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder. Boot from the CD, and run at least 5 passes.

If you can determine that all 4GB are fine, yet you only get errors using the 4, I will have this thread forwarded to another section, where our memory tweaking experts lie.

Ok as requested I have done the above, I am now a bit lost!!!

When I have both 2 gig strips in I get errors very quickly.

I remove 1 and the remaining strip Passes 5 times no erorrs

So I take that out and put in the other 1 and leave over night 19 passes with no errors.... ?!

Any ideas anyone....

Could someone forward to the correct location I am not sure how to do this.....

Looks like you got excellent help with the debugging, so let's look at the RAM a little closer.

First can you give us some background on your computer?
How long have you had it?
Win7 Pro 32bit or 64bit?

Did you always have the same RAM installed?
From your specs it's Crucial 2gig DDR3 PC3 8500, 2GB per stick? So 2 X 2GB sticks, What are the timings and voltages?
Crucial isn't very good at letting you know the timings so D/L CPUZ and post a screen snip of the 'Memory' and 'SPD' tabs, if you don't have the info.

If you added RAM from the initial startup, what brand, timings, voltages?

Was it running stable at any time?
Only with 2GB installed, or did it ever run stable with 4GB installed?

Have you over clocked CPU or RAM?

Is the RAM listed on the MOBO supported memory list?
Edit: Just checked your MOBO RAM support list, your RAM is not on there, but the specs are more important.

For the mem test:

Did you use Memtest86 or something else?

Did you have the RAM stick in a different slot when you ran the second test?

Which slots are you using?

Hope it's not too many questions, but they will help narrow down any issues with the RAM.

When installing both sticks did you put 1 each in the black slots?
If not try that, if you did, try putting both sticks in the orange slots.

I've been looking at your MOBO manual and edited a couple of questions in the above post.
I wouldn't be too concerned that the RAM isn't on your MOBO list, but it might end up being an issue.

Are you using the black slots to install the RAM?
They must be in the same colored slots.

If you had the two sticks in the black slots before, try them in the orange slots.

If that doesn't work then put one stick of RAM (only one stick) in each slot one at a time and run the memtest again.
That's one RAM stick in the first black slot, run the memtest, move it to the next black slot and run the memtest, move it to the first orange slot and run the memtest, move it to the second orange slot and run the memtest.
We're looking for a bad slot.

Post the CPUZ tabs from the post above. Just to be sure of what is in there.

Let me know the results.

I all ready thought of that and tried the ram in both orange and black slots neither cured the BSOD's....

Do you still want me to try the mem testing?

Just to clarify:

The info on the RAM sticks.
Did you buy them at the same time as a kit, 2x2GB?
Separately as 1x2GB modules? Same supplier?

When you put two RAM sticks in the board, one in each of the black slots and got a BSOD. Then put two RAM sticks, one in each of the orange slots and got a BSOD. Correct?

If we can knock the possibilities out one at a time, we can either find the problem or rule out the some of the possibilities.

Can you tell me all of the things you have tried up to this point, with as much detail as possible, so we won't duplicate the trouble shooting steps.

When you ran the memtest previously, for the one RAM stick tests, did you have each of the two RAM sticks in the same slot (one at a time) or did you use a different slot?

Put a single RAM stick in one slot, one slot at a time and start the computer:

Alternate the Ram sticks, RAM stick #1 for A-1 and A-2 tests, RAM stick #2 for B-1 and B-2 tests.

Single RAM stick #1 in slot A-1 (black), start computer and run memtest. If you have already done this skip to the next test.

Single RAM stick #2 in slot B-1 (black), start computer and run memtest. If you have already done this skip to the next test.

Single RAM stick #1 in slot A-2 (orange), start computer and run memtest. If you have already done this skip to the next test.

Single RAM stick #2 in slot B-2 (orange), start computer and run memtest.

Let me know the results.

When you installed the MOBO did you get all the standoffs in the right place?
Is there anything between the MOBO and case, cables or wires?
Anything that might cause a short on the MOBO?

We've got a fairly long list of possibilities the check, let's knock them out one at a time.

I've put the questions and answers together with some comments to help you and other members see the trouble shooting steps being looked at.

A question on the debugging steps.
How did you uninstall AVG?
Need to be sure all traces are gone.
Run this AVG Remover Tool, if you haven't already.

Looks like you got excellent help with the debugging, so let's look at the RAM a little closer.

How long have you had it?

Win7 32bit or 64bit?
Win7 32bit (btw it had same issues with vista 32bit also).

Since you likely have the same BIOS and drivers in win7 that you had in Vista, this will need to be checked later once all of the hardware trouble shooting is completed.

Did you always have the same RAM installed? What are the specs, brand, timings and voltages?
Not always installed as I get fed up with the BSOD's.

240 PIN DIMM (2 OF THEM) Oh its DDR3 (You probally know this from the above but just trying to give as much info as poss

The RAM appears to be compatible even though it's not on the MOBO compatible list, will look at hardware first.

What is the longest time the computer has run with 4GB RAM installed?
Hours or Days?
Is it usually the same amount of time, right after boot up or is it random, sometimes immediately and sometimes days later?

If you added RAM, what brand, timings, voltages?
None added both 2 gig strips are the same.
Good.
RAM compatibility issues can occur from identical RAM but from different batches or a slight design change.

Was it running stable at any time?
From previous info I'll assume 2GB - yes, 4GB - never.
This leads to hardware fault, RAM stick compatibility, BIOS settings, BIOS and driver versions/upgrade

Have you over clocked CPU or RAM?
No overclocking.
Have you set the timing and voltages to the RAMs recommended specs? We can cover that later, after the hardware trouble shooting

Is the RAM listed on the MOBO supported memory list?
Its a asus P5P43TD PRO .......... OH NO ITS NOT LISTED!!

Please dont say thats why..........

Hopefully it will be OK, but might come back to it later.

For the mem test:

Did you use Memtest86 or something else?

Will assume memtest86, unless informed differently.

Did you have the RAM stick in a different slot when you ran the second test?

Please clarify, or give results from above post.

Which slots are you using?

This has been addressed in the above post.

Hope it's not too many questions, but they will help narrow down any issues with the RAM.

Lol yes lost of questions here goes......

Better to be thorough than skip around and miss a small seemingly insignificant step that proves to be the answer.

The info on the RAM sticks.
Did you buy them at the same time as a kit, 2x2GB?
Separately as 1x2GB modules? Same supplier?

At the same time 2 modules same supplier (dabs)

When you put two RAM sticks in the board, one in each of the black slots and got a BSOD. Then put two RAM sticks, one in each of the orange slots and got a BSOD. Correct?

Yes Correct

If we can knock the possibilities out one at a time, we can either find the problem or rule out the some of the possibilities.

Can you tell me all of the things you have tried up to this point, with as much detail as possible, so we won't duplicate the trouble shooting steps.

When you ran the memtest previously, for the one RAM stick tests, did you have each of the two RAM sticks in the same slot (one at a time) or did you use a different slot?

Same slot 1 at a time

I will do

When you installed the MOBO did you get all the standoffs in the right place?
Is there anything between the MOBO and case, cables or wires?
Anything that might cause a short on the MOBO?

Checked and yes to standoffs no to anything else.

We've got a fairly long list of possibilities the check, let's knock them out one at a time.

Hope this helps I will get back to you with memtests soon (ish) takes ages and yes memtest86 is what I am using.
