BSOD's after clean install

Hi all,
Since installing W7 Ultimate 64bit SP1, on my Desktop, I have experience 5 BSOD's within a 10 day period. There doesn't seem to be any particular point in time or anything--just random---and the BSOD disappears before I get chance to read the Code. I'm left with no choice but to do a manual power button shutdown. Reboot starts with the message--"Windows experienced an unexplained shutdown" Windows can search online for a solution---it never comes up with such! I have a feeling it possibly has to do with a corrupt Wrong Driver install. I did a restore to before all update ops --thus deleting everything done since the System install, but had another BSOD since.
The PC is an HP Pavillion t3550uk, which now has an Asrock G31M-GS R2.0 Motherboard fitted. Bios P1.80
RAM doubled to 2.0 Gb. All other components are the originals transferred to the Asrock from the old --defective--Mobo. The Asrock was fitted 2 yrs ago and the old OS was Win XP SP3.
The PC was 64bit ready. W7 installed no trouble. I got the updated Drivers from Asrock---installed no problem.
I attach the Crash Dump Files. Another install would be no problem as I Imaged the HD, so would wipe it and clone the image back. Might be the best--quickest- solution, really.

How old the GPU is? NVIDIA GeForce 7300 LE ?

Not finding any up-to-date driver that is suitable to that device.

Stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark.

Check if the Power Supply Unit (PSU) supplying adequate power to the computer or not.

Also let us know the wattage of the PSU.

BSOD's after Install

Hi Arc---didn't have much success with your suggestion---but I put that down to my inexperience.
I have done a fresh install---but that has brought me other problems.
1 --I can't activate Windows using the Product key ---even though not previously used--previous install not activated---
2 Windows Updates---not installing/configuring example---informed 149 updates available after install. ok--I let them install---reboot follows---on reboot get message---configuring Updates phase 1 of 3--do not turn of Computer. PC reboots after phase 1,--after phase 2, it shuts down, but doesn't restart. On booting up afresh--get configuring updates, phase 3. This is followed by///configuration failed --some updates were not installed.
Check Update history---only 5 updates of 149, installed---all others failed. Then ran Windows update---stuck in search loop---shutdown--10 mins later---important updates are waiting to be installed----138 of them. (installing as I write this from Laptop) Although I clicked on view updates---the system just went ahead with installation---what is going on here? Seems I don't have any control over my PC, where updates are concerned. Even this post suddenly submitted before I finished ----the reason for edit.

For a stop 0x116, the tests are needed, not a clean install!

Telephone Activation not possible

Arc--apologies for failing the tests- As for Telephone activation--that option doesn't appear when clicking on Activate now. For that option I need the 9 sets of figures which clicking on Activate by automated telephone brings up. Is there another way of finding those? I tried slui.exe 4 get a "not found" reaction--or just nothing happens! Same with slui 3
Something else---I've been in contact with the DVD Vendor---they tell me I can't activate an OEM Windows online if I've installed updates!! I never heard that before! Always done complete install of Updates and my programs before activating--always ok with XP---surely no different with W7. Also asked if I'd had a different version installed previous, such as a downloaded version---no, and the HDD was wiped before this installation--absolutely clean.
They even sent me a new Product Key--- did the change key--and enter a different key---both failed.
I have had two error codes,--0xC004C008 and 0xC004E003 (this tells me the key is in use--but it is --supposedly--a new unused key!)
Think I'll ask for my money back---never ever had trouble Activating Windows XP Home or Pro--

You can activate Windows 7 at any point - the excuse the vendor gave you was utter rubbish. They probably just gave you another bogus key and told you not to call MS... because they knew MS would flag it.

Try Googling the key - if it shows up, then it's a bogus key. If it doesn't show up in the results it still could be a bogus key.

DO NOT post the key here though.

Activation aggravation

Hi Slartybart, Thanks for your observations. Vendor has offered me money back---but no answer to the problem. Says it all really! Thing is I've put effort into this and why should they take the easy way out--my time and effort goes unrewarded. Demanded a solution from them---waiting--gonna put the pressure on!! Watch this space, as they say! They shouldn't be offering stuff that doesn't activate! I'll probably find the solution before they do though.
