Hi,

Right this moment, i'm building my first rig. I've always got a DIY system but it's set up by the people working at the store.

Not sure if i connect everything properly as i've yet to start it up. That's a different thing altogether.

My question: I have 2 fans installed. 1 is at the usual rear panel blowing air out. I've installed another up front (basically, in-between my HDD and front panel). Should the fan up front be blowing air out or in? Which would be better?

Thanks!

It should be blowing in. pulling fresh air into the system...

Cheers Dwarf! Mine is set up exactly as you explained it. The front fan is near the bottom and the rear is up top.
I originally thought it's best to use both fans blowing hot air out but your message made complete sense.

I'll switch it around. ;)

*Can't rep you as i gave you one not too long ago. IOU1. :D
