I need help! Too many bsods! (win7 x64, phenom, ddr3)
I have been looking through pages upon pages of forums with related issues in trying to solve my own problems but it got to the point that I need help from the pros.
I have a Windows 7 x64 OS, Asus M4A79XTD EVO mb with AMD Phenom II X4 955 @ stock (3.2GHz), Gskill Ripjaw DDR3 Ram @ 1600 (9-9-9-24-t2, 1.5v), EVGA GTX260 video card, and 600w psu. This system was built around Christmas and was overclocked to 3.6ghz but temps didn't go past 40C idle and 45-50C at load.
I cannot force the bsods to occur and they happen at random times (playing games, when the computer is not doing anything on the desktop, when I'm watching a video, surfing the internet). I can go for hours without a bsod but sometimes they occur within minutes of each other.
I will tell you what I have tried doing... I have since stopped overclocking. I ran memtest with BOTH sticks in and after 6 passes got no errors. I changed the voltage of the RAM and went back and forth between 1333 and 1600, changed the timings too. Updated drivers for video card and onboard network. I also rolled back the drivers for the onboard network. I switched the video card to the other PCI slot.
After doing all of the above (not all at once of course), I still get bsods. Just a few minutes ago I put in only one stick of ram and a bsod occurred right away on loading the desktop. I have the other in right now and so far nothing is happening. I'm going to go see if I can cause a bsod by playing a video or some games.
I've included a rar of several dump files for someone to look at. Maybe you guys can help me out, I use the computer for university work and I really need it to be stable! Doing GIS projects with bsod looming nearby is not fun at all...
